I wish everyone had great hair.
What’s the point of having nice, healthy hair when it simply just hangs as if it’s a dead, colorless creature that drapes pathetically from your scalp.
Is it really that hard to take a product to your locks?
Apparently so.
I have seen so many people who don’t take pride in such an important aspect of their physical appearance.
I wish everyone would style their hair.
Hair is like a glimpse at your heart. (Along with clothing, no doubt).
If you just have un-styled, un-cut long hair that’s parted down the middle people may look at you and not really notice anything about your appearance, just that you must be basic and boring.
If you have pin-straight, scene-teased hair (along with heavy eyeliner and neon clothing) people will look at you and think you’re a lazy, irresponsible teen.
But if you have great, voluminous, styled, AMAZING hair, people will look at you twice, knowing that you have confidence in yourself and that you must style.
You can still reflect who you are and what your personal style is, just in a way that looks more refined.
If you like more edgy cuts then skip the big, 80’s hair and opt for a sleeker, asymmetrical bob. If you still are craving color, ask your hair dresser to blend the color more in. Or go for extensions.
If you’re more of an easy-breezy kind of girl when it comes to fashion and want a hairstyle that you do practically nothing to, go for a cut that is just below the shoulders with plenty of layers. Use pretty headbands to keep the hair from falling in your face.
Then there are those of you who over-style your hair to the point of no return.
Keep the cut itself simple and versatile. Limit yourself to the amount of products you dump on your hair and never forget hair accessories.
Let your hair support your personality, not be it.
Yes, it’s not always good to judge people by how they look but as humans, we do. It’s how you present yourself that’s important and hair is a big part of that.
Remember to let your hair reflect who you really are, not what its saying you want to be.
If only everyone put three times as much effort into styling their hair as they do now, imagine how stylish the world would be.

girls are mean.
I miss my cousin so much!! Last year at this time, we were standing on the space needle in Seattle.
So, I'll open it up and show you what's inside:

Then we watched fireworks on TV later that night.
Well, welcome in 2010.
And what better way to welcome in 2010 then with new, cute hair?
I have a folder in my pictures where I keep photos of cute haircuts.

101 dalmatians
Wow...2010 is almost here. 2 days!!
2 DAYS?!
oh my word....where does time go?
haha.
Well, I guess it's time for me to think up that new year resolution. (Last years resolution was not to have one).
I could try to me more stylish or chic....I could try to make more friends....I could minister more to my friends....or I could do what G-d wants me to do.
I like the last two.
You see, each year for the past 2 year's I keep a little handmade notebook that records dramatic/important events of the year.
I recommend starting one, it is really great to look back and see the past events.
But I also highly, highly, highly recommend keeping a journal. I know it can be difficult to swing into a routine, but trust me, you will be thankful you have it.
I write in my journal every night, usually filling up a 250 page every three months. (Ok, I'll admit, last night I didn't write).
For me, writing is easy. I love making my characters suffer from dramatic events of my novels. But that's besides the point.
Lets say, each night for 3 weeks you write for 10 minutes.
That's 21 days of writing.
Think you can do it? I know you can.
I mean, think about it. A place all your own, for your eyes only. A place where you can write anything you want. Anything.
A place to scribble violently when your angry. A place to fall in love. A place to pray. A place that is totally and completely, you.
Ok...so that really has nothing to do with fashion, but I did say that this blog has evolved more into my life and fashion, right?
Now, onto fashion.
I LOVE THE PRE-FALL 2010 DVF COLLECTION!!!!!!!!!!!
ANY HUMAN COULD TAKE AN OUTFIT OFF THE RUNWAY AND PUT IT ON THEIR BODY, WEAR IT AROUND TOWN AND LOOK COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY STYLISH.
Not weird- stylish.
