CoverGirl Exact Eyelight Mascara

According to the February 2009 issue of Instyle magazine, "This seasons must-have makeup shades shows up in mascara hues too."
After listing off two other mascaras- one reaching twenty dollars- I was surprised to find out that the new CoverGirl Exact Eyelight Mascara in Black Ruby showed up too.
I had remembered seeing the commercial and automatically wanting a tube of my own, so I was more than pleased to find out this particular shade is the hot new thing.
After checking Fred Myers two times and a local drug store, my mother found a shade of this precious mascara at Wal-Mart. Clearly, the Black Ruby color had been flying off the racks. Either there are many, many people with green eyes (note; one of the most rare eye colors) or this was indeed, in style.
The thing about this mascara is that the 'ruby' isn’t exactly red. It is a aubergine that shimmers softly.
Three more shades exist in the collection, Black Sapphire for blue eyes, Black Pearl for brown and Black Gold for Hazel.

Gifts

A few days ago was my twin brother's 10th birthday. We went out shopping to all their favorite stores. Which would mean- all my un-favorite stores. While waiting for them to pick out a few items at the Burlington Coat Factory {a shop which I hate with mild passion}, I spotted some Ralph Lauren Polo flip flops. I had walked past them a few times, always eyeing them. Finally I picked them up and we had bought them for $9.99, with the original price being over fifteen dollars. Preparing for summer- five months ahead.

I have one more thing to share with you all.
One of the only actual botique shops here is closing down. :( I was SO devistated!!! I had the urdge to go in there and buy everything I loved. Thankfully, my mother stoped me. But, she did go in and buy a few idems since they were having a 50% off sale. And while buying my cousion Haley's birthday present, she picked up some stuff for me.
Compleatly suprised, I accpected the ultra-chic tweed blazer and Bebe necklace. I was literaly jumping up and down as I glanced at the designer necklace. So, I took some photos to share with you.
