411 On Mixing Prints

Mixing prints can look very effortless if done right. Try pairing a very graphic skirt with a subtle floral blouse or cardigan. An easy classic most women don’t consider is stripes with polka dots. Who said you couldn't do it? Put a nautical cardigan with small polka dot tank. Very simple, subtle and fresh.

I put together a few examples using polyvore.com to give you some inspiration:

The first one was very vintage...only a more daring fashionista can pull it off. (But that doesn't mean it can't be you! Just go outside your comfort zone next time your at the store and TRY EVERYTHING ON!!!)

the sun soon will sink below the horizon, into it's hiding place...

Neighbors stink.
Like, I can hear them! right now!
shuuttt up!

Yesterday (heah) -MMMM IT SMELLS LIKE CLEAN LANDRY-anyways, OH WOA WHY DOES IT SMELL ALL THE WAY IN HERE?? one sec. ~6:40

6:41~ oh woa. the dryer was like, on and so I pulled the lint collector thing out and checked it...the load before didn't have like, anything on it so I didn't clean it off (there was like, nothing to clean off) yet, my mind was like, "clean it off." and I didn't and now the dryer is sweltering so I can't dry the stuff that's in the dryer cus it is yeah.

ANYWAYSSS. Where was I? Oh yeah. So yesterday we did a photo shoot and here's one of the pics.

Hollister? yee. It's not really truly in fashion but here it works.

ugh this oxford is way to big on meh.

I guess some designers are trying to get novelty sweaters 'in'.

How can soon-to-be large, lumpy sweaters with gigantic animal heads be considered 'in'?
Like, for photo shoots and such it may be kind of cool, but in photo shoots any kind of strange look can be cool.

Before you shy away from Manish Arora's bold kittah-kittah look, take your eyes off the dress and onto the tights and purse.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the coat and the pouffe skirt by Jill Stuart!!!!!!!!!
Her fall ready-to-wear collection is totally like, vintage ballerina meets rocker chick. Of course, being more into vintage, I didn't really post allot of the 'rocker chick' stuff. :)
I absolutely adore this sage ruffled dress. And the hat?? Amazingness!!

So bright, you need shades

Ray-Ban Wayfarer seems to be hitting the streets these days.
It is a nice break from those clunky (but awesomeee) 80's sunglasses that were hot last summer.
What I love about these epic glasses is that they have that retro-glam vibe about them.
The original Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses can cost up to $200.00. But for those of us who want to get that look all for under $10.00, check out this fabulous find.

The Classic Wayfarers, Modcloth.com, $9.99

Also available in four more stylish shades.

But for those who want the orignals,

Ray-Ban Classic Wayfarer, Cabelas.com, $189.99

thinkah thinkah

After reading my History lesson today in SOS (Yes, I am home schooled. Heah heah.) I decided I really need to get a job.

Soon the state of Washington will allow me to get one the moment I turn 14. So yeah.

I'm thinking about applying at a near by hair salon, cleaning up and stuff.

But yeah.

I just figure that my taist in clothing is only gonna get more and more expensive, so I may as well start raking up some actual dough instead of my every once and a while allowance.

Let the hunt begin.

OPI South Beach Collection

The new OPI South Beach nail collection is finally out in stores!!!
After noticing many, many adds and seeing a display at the local nail salon, I guess it is time for me to do a review on the new spring/summer shades.
With 12 hot colors to choose from, my favorite would have to be Paint My Moji Toes Red, a warm rosy red. I also love Party in My Cabana, a muted yet delicious shade of pink. You can pick a bottle up at any beauty store. If you want to save money, swing by your local Wal-Mart.
